Saint Anne was the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus. We only know a little about her through tradition, but she must have been a woman of great faith who inspired her daughter to trust in God's plan. Today, Anne is the patron saint of homemakers and women in labor. She is also the patron of miners for her role in safeguarding her precious daughter and grandson.
