Into the Deep: Level Three is a Catholic homeschool resource for religious education. However, it can be used by any family, as it is easy to customize and tailor to your schedule. Aimed at providing opportunities for the child to encounter Jesus Christ, the Living Word, this catechesis program will help you build a legacy of Faith in your home. This resource has the Imprimatur from Bishop William Medley of the Diocese of Owensboro. Level Three contains 72 Presentations (or lessons) and you can space and pace those according to your desire. While Level Three is aimed at 7th-9th graders, this can easily be used as whole-family catechesis or during your morning time. This resource aims to support you in your mission as primary catechist in your family, this leaving you ample space to tailor the content to your family's liturgical preference, devotions, and charisms. Level Three can be completed by the child independently. Comprehension of content is assessed through prompted narration throughout the resource. Using beautiful, original watercolor illustrations, nature study, poetry, art, music, narration, and story, Level Three draws the child deeper into the Story of Salvation History, exploring the seven covenants God made with man, culminating in Jesus Christ and the Eucharist. Level Three also explores the form, matter, and minister of the seven Sacraments. Finally, they'll travel through Church history from the late middle ages up to the pre-modern era (including the Protestant Revolt and Counter Reformation). As always, every Presentation is steeped in Sacred Scripture, beauty, and prayer. We hope this resource helps our children see that they play an irreplaceable role in the Story, and that life with Christ truly is a wonderful adventure (a la JPII). Let's evangelize a generation.
